Reminiscent of the moon, this pendant reminds us of an important spiritual truth: however bright and beautiful a full moon appears, it has no light or brilliance of its own.
Without the light of the sun, the moon is merely a dark, cavernous rock. Similarly, humans have no light of our own as we were created in the image of God to reflect his brilliance and glory (Genesis 1:27).
Wearing these earrings reminds us that were created to be reflectors of His light in this world (John 1:4-5) and that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
