The EH Pearls of Wisdom Collection marks a yearning to gain wisdom, to "get understanding," as the proverbs urge us. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

Throughout the book of Proverbs, wisdom is presented as "she" and later embodies an the picture of a godly woman. Wisdom beautifully gathers herself in the very last chapter of proverbs as the woman who fears the Lord (also popularly known as the 'Proverbs 31 Woman'), giving us practical insight into everyday wisdom.
