BELOVED DAUGHTERS
At Everyday Heirloom, we're all about creating tangible reminders of God's faithfulness for women for their everyday lives. Our vision, since 2018, has been to create wearable works of art that women can pass down a legacy of faithfulness -- but instead of waiting decades down the line, we wanted to make this a reality for women right now, in their everyday lives.
Introducing Everyday Heirloom's Beloved Daughters Collection! It's everything you love about the Signature Collection, only smaller. We want to pass on a faith legacy here and now and this collection of tangible ebenezers helps us do just that by marking spiritual milestones for our daughters be it salvation, dedication, baptism, coming-of-age, and more.
And remember: your identity as God’s beloved daughter doesn’t stop at a certain age. Collect this new size for your adult daughter, sister, friend, and for yourself. This smaller size is perfect for the woman who loves all the deep messages of EH designs with the simpler, dainty aesthetic.
Be ready for service and have your lamps lit. You are to be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him at once. Blessed will be those servants the master finds alert when he comes. Luke 12:35-37
A symbol echoing from the holy depths of the tabernacle in the form of the lampstand (Exodus 25:31), to Jeremiah’s vision and God’s promise to perform his Word (Jeremiah 1:11-12), to Aaron’s blooming almond rod (Numbers 17:8), this necklace serves as an emblem of light and watchfulness.
Almond blossoms were a critical aspect of the design God gave to Moses for the golden lampstand specifically made for lighting the Tabernacle. Just as cups made like almond blossoms, holding the oil and constantly lighting the Holy Place, we’re reminded that we are to be ready for action and keep our lamps burning continually as we anticipate Christ’s return.
In Jeremiah’s vision, the Hebrew word for almond is 'saqed.' This word immediately suggests an almost identical Hebrew word 'soqed' which means 'on the alert' or 'on the watch.' God keeps watch over the seasons of our lives, ever alert to announce the imminent end of winter and the coming of spring, when new life will be joyfully experienced and celebrated.
Not unlike Moses’ cups of blossoms, the EH Almond Blossom was carved and cast into precious metals. With petals only beginning to unfold, this design choice serves as a representation that Christ has come, therefore the bloom is not closed as a bud, but has also not fully bloomed as we anticipate Christ’s return and the fullness of His glory.
Beloved, let eyelids like flower petals unfurl to see before us the great work of God’s unfolding mercies, that the Lord might say to us, “Thou hast seen well.” Just as the almond blossom is known for its fragrance, may our lives be a sweet aroma of Christ (2 Cor. 2:15). May we be light bearers in this late hour (Phil. 2:15) --this winter season of our world-- and hold fast to Hope in this harbinger of spring, the renewal of Life, ever watchful for the Master’s return.
