This design fleshes out the theme of Christ as The Good Shepherd (John 10:14) by depicting a lamb bound for sacrifice on a shepherd's staff; Jesus is the Lamb of God who was slain (John 1:29). The crook of the staff wounds round the head, inlaid with 23 diamonds (Psalm 23). Our Lamb wears a crown of victory, a halo of light, pointing to the reality of the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, when we have no need for the sun or moon for the Lamb will be our lamp (John 8:12, Rev. 21:23).
In light of referencing the world's most recognizable psalm, it's to be noted that a shepherd's staff is both a weapon to fight off enemies and to comfort the flock. The crook of the staff is a method to draw them near lest they wander. Beloved, the Lamb of God has drawn near to you. This is the hour to draw near, consecrate ourselves (2 Chronicles 35:6) and join the chorus of heaven by declaring, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing (Rev. 5:12)!"

Choose from sterling silver, 10k or 14k yellow gold with matching chains. Diamonds are lab grown and total to 23 to point to Psalm 23. Pendant measure 1" tall x 1/2" wide compared to the Original Good Shepherd Necklace.
We recommend chain length 14-16" for ages 5 - 12 years old.
